LG oven falls short of expectations (pictures)
The LG LDG4315ST double-oven range stands out for its fast boiling times and useful middle burner, but its performance is inconsistent.

The LG LDG4315ST is a 30-inch-wide gas range equipped with a double oven cavity.
There are five burners on the LDG4315ST's cooktop, including an oval burner in the middle designed for use with a griddle. Continuous grates cover the burners.
The UltraHeat burner boiled 112 ounces of water in an average of 10.65 minutes during my water-boiling tests.
The double ovens have a combined capacity of 6.9 cubic feet -- 2.6 cubic feet in the upper cavity and 4.3 cubic feet in the lower cavity.
LG equipped the bottom oven with a ProBake convection fan. With this feature, a heating element surrounds the convection fan for more even heating.
The LDG4315ST includes a pizza setting that cooks frozen or fresh pizzas.
Large, easy-to-read buttons are just one of this range's user-friendly features.
LG equipped this oven with Smart ThinQ technology, which connects the oven to the LG Smart Oven app.
The knobs on the LG LDG4315ST are big and easy to grip.
The LG LDG4315ST is available at an MSRP of $1,899.
