The LG K7
Here at CES 2016 in fabulous Las Vegas, LG took the wraps off the K7 -- a mid-tier smartphone running Google Android 5.1 Lollipop.
A pebble-like design
The device has a 5-inch display and sports a refreshed look from LG. The design features rounder corners than past LG smartphones and a display that curves into its edges.
Capture selfies with a 5-MP shooter
The 5-megapixel front-facing camera has a few software goodies that cater to selfies. One is the digital flash to brighten up your photos.
A personal photobooth
Another feature is the ability to take four photos, one after another, after you use a hand gesture to activate the countdown.
Two options for the rear cam
Depending on your region, the phone will have either an 8- or 5-megapixel rear shooter.
Differe processor clockspeeds for varying regions
The K7 has a 2,125mAh battery, but it will also have two variants: an LTE version and a 3G version. Both models have a quad-core processor, but the LTE one will have a 1.1GHz clockspeed and the latter will have a 1.3GHz clockspeed.
Coming to the US and other countries
LG has not released all of its pricing or availability information yet, but for US customers, we know that it'll come to Boost Mobile some time in Q1.
Two K-series handsets from LG
In addition to the K7, LG announced a bigger and more powerful 5.3-inch phone known as the K10.
