As the first tablet with a built-in pico projector, the comparable competition is non-existent. However the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro can still hold its own in performance with or without its unique attribute.
The built-in projector is located on the spine, opposite of the power button.
The projector is impressive for a tiny little thing packed on the side of the tablet, but it's not very bright.
Unless you're watching a silent movie, you're gonna need some speakers. Thankfully, the front-facing pair on the Yoga Table 2 Pro are loud and crisp at full volume. However, I found them better for dialogue than music.
Without the stand, the built-in projector would be awkward to position.
You could also say the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro puts the "fun" in functional. Its design, though out of the ordinary, revolves around providing a comfortable and enjoyable Android experience.
The user-interface looks a little like iOS and lacks an app tray for easily finding your apps.
Next to the projector you'll find a button dedicated to turning it on and off, as well as switch that adjusts the focus.
The stand easily pops out with the push of a button and it can rotate to 180 degrees.
The projector displays 854x580-pixel resolution, which is a far cry from the super-HD 2,560x1,400-resolution.
On the right edge you'll find the projector next to its proprietary power button.
The left side is home to the power button, headphone jack, and micro-USB port.
The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro packs a rear subwoofer, but the bass was a bit too low for my personal preference.
