Lenovo Vibe X is a 5-inch, superslim new smartphone (pictures)
We go hands-on with Lenovo's new smartphone, which packs a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Meet the Lenovo Vibe X smartphone, the company's new 5-inch mobile.
The back has this pleasant metallic section -- but watch out for fingerprints.
It has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Around the front there's a 5-megapixel version.
The Vibe X weighs just 121 grams.
The Vibe X measures a mere 6.9 millimeters thick. There's 16GB of storage onboard.
The display is 1080p, so onscreen icons and text look very crisp. The panel is made of Gorilla Glass 3, and the phone is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
There's a 1.5GHz quad-core processor on the inside and it has 2GB of RAM, but we did notice some lag when swiping through home screens. Hopefully that will be ironed out by the time the Vibe X comes out.
The back has a textured finished that adds a modicum of flair.
It's slim, and on paper the specs are respectable, but I suspect this phone will struggle to stand out from the crowd of similar Android mobiles.
