Lenovo S5000 Android tablet is €199 and super-light (photos)
Lenovo takes on the mighty Nexus 7 with this half-pound hero, out later this year.
Lenovo's S5000 is a 7-inch Android 4.2 tablet. It's available this December, for €199 (about $260 or £170).
It's very light for a 7-inch device, weighing just 0.54 pounds (245g).
Its screen has a mediocre 1,280x800-pixel resolution, less than the new Nexus 7.
It's really thin as well as light.
Crammed into its svelte frame is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
The back has a textured finish and doesn't feel too plasticky.
There's a bog-standard 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.6-megapixel front snapper for video calls.
This metallic lip is a bit of design flair that continues round the back.
