Laughter goes wild in Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards
It's only natural to laugh at these photos, from a fox doing a face-plant to a buffalo having a bad day.
For fox sake
Go ahead. Laugh. The Comedy in Wildlife Photography contest has chosen its winners. Angela Bohlke's photo of a red fox hunting for a vole, missing, and face-planting in the snow was the contest's big winner, claiming both the overall and on the land categories. The photo was taken in Yellowstone National Park. Bohlke won a seven-night safari in Kenya as well as a camera prize package from Nikon.

Caroline Tout won one of the highly commended certificates for her photo of a komodo dragon appearing to exit a toilet in Indonesia.

Philip Marazzi won a highly commended certificate for his image of a mother polar bear snoozing while her energetic cub gives the camera a wave. The photo was taken in Manitoba, Canada.
