Epson Smart Canvas
TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Here at Computex, e-ink isn't just for e-readers.
New for this year, Epson's Smart Canvas watch gets a little artistic with its design.
Tomoon watch
Chinese manufacturer Tomoon has a variety of smartwatches, include the e-ink T-Fire which has a slightly curved screen.
Sonostar e-ink smartwatch
Not surprisingly, the E Ink company stand had a variety of innovative products using e-ink technology. This Sonostar smartwatch had fitness tracking capabilities, as well as call alert and reject, message alerts, and more.
Seiko e-ink smartwatch
Seiko's e-ink watch offering was a little more functional, design-wise than some on display.
Kisai Rorschach
True to its name, the Rorschach from Kisai uses an inkblot-style design to tell the time on its e-ink display.
Onyx Boox i63ML Newton
There were of course plenty of e-readers on the E Ink stand, including the strangely named Boox i63ML Newton from Onyx.
Tolino Vision
Out of the all the readers, the Tolino had the most endearing screensaver.
Acatel E-Card
The E-Card from Alcatel is an e-reader so small you can have it with you at all times.
YotaPhone
We've seen -- and reviewed -- the YotaPhone before: a smart phone with an e-ink screen on the back.
Flexible e-ink screens
Bendable e-ink screens are continually being refined and tweaked. This is the 13.3-inch Mobius Module.
Coloured e-ink
The 6-inch Spectra e-reader adds a dash of colour into the usually monochrome world of e-ink.
Sony Digital Paper
Sony's Digital Paper is a 13.3-inch tablet that uses e-ink technology combined with a stylus to create an "etch-a-sketch on steroids". At $1,100 (£650, AU$1,175), the price is also on steroids.
Oxasis InkCase
Away from the E Ink stand, Singapore-based Oaxis has a few e-ink phone cases. This is a wallet style flip case with the e-ink screen front-facing when closed.
Oaxis InkCase Sports
Also from Oaxis, this is a sports version of the InkCase, displaying fitness data.
