Inside Google's state-of-the-art YouTube Space in London
The high-tech hub is a production facility for the UK's top YouTubers.
Tucked away on the ground floor of Google's new offices in London, the 20,000-foot Space is kitted out with a community area, high-ceilinged studios, state-of-the-art editing suites, VR capture and 4K live-streaming facilities.
The community space features a coffee shop and will also play host to workshops.
All visitors are greeted by a video wall featuring many of the UK's most celebrated YouTubers.
A garage door can be pulled down to create a separate events space in the community area.
Barry Lewis of the My Virgin Kitchen vlog used to work in construction before he made the career switch to become a full-time YouTube personality.
A temporary train set is the first of a rotating number of rentable spaces for filming that will be switched out every few months.
The Creator Store will sell YouTuber-branded goodies to fans, as well as providing vloggers with an opportunity to learn about merchandising.
The Space's studios vary in size, with some being highly customizable and others featuring ready-made sets.
The two biggest studios feature double-storey ceilings measuring 6 meters (20 feet) high, allowing for some ambitious set designs.
There are a number of dedicated editing suites, as well as an audio production suite for those undertaking ambitious musical projects.
No expense has been spared in kitting out the Space's editing facilities.
Filming VR content is now an option for YouTubers who do not own the tools themselves.
YouTubers will also be able to live stream their content in 4K resolution.
As well as using equipment within the space, some YouTubers will also be able to borrow it to take it out on location.
