Belarus' best-known player

While the Finnish team was filled with household names, the Belarus team had few NHL players. Probably their best known player is Ruslan Salei, who plays for the Colorado Avalanche.

Kiprusoff did finally get some more shots to handle during the third period as Belarus stepped up its attack. He proved up to the task, though as Finland won handily, 5-1.
