Stylish curves

The curved edge gives the P6 a touch of flair, though for the most part it strongly resembles the iPhone.

Check out the rear camera

This is an 8-megapixel camera, plus flash. Nothing too special here, but around the front...

How many megapixels?!

...you'll find a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Why not add some clarity to your carefully posed selfies, eh?

Getting Emotional

Though it's powered by Android 4.2.2, the P6 uses Huawei's Emotion UI, which lacks an app tray. As such, all your apps are arranged on the phone's home screens.

Slot machine

The Ascend P6 is deathly slim at 6.18mm. You're looking at the microSD card slot (right) and the SIM card slot (to the left).

A slender package

Impressively, there's a 1.5GHz quad-core processor lurking inside this slim chassis. That should be powerful enough for graphically demanding games and plenty of multitasking.

I Got an Early Look at Intel's Glass Packaging Tech for Faster Chips
Rahul Manepalli, right, Intel's module engineering leader, shows a glass substrate panel before it's sliced into the small rectangles that will be bonded to the undersides of hundreds of test processors. The technology, shown here at Intel's CH8 facility in Chandler, Arizona, stands to improve performance and power consumption of advanced processors arriving later this decade. Glass substrates should permit physically larger processors comprised of several small "chiplets" for AI and data center work, but Intel expects they'll trickle down to PCs, too.
