HTC Tattoo
The HTC Tattoo gets its name from the broad customization abilities of the smartphone. It's the second phone to offer HTC's Sense user interface, which lets you personalize seven panels with widgets, shortcuts, and wallpapers.
Small in size but not in features
The device is pretty compact at 4.17 inches tall by 2.17 inches wide by 0.55 inch thick and 3.99 ounces. Despite it's smaller size, it has a solid set of features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and, of course, access to Google's various services.
Touch screen
The HTC Tattoo features a 2.8-inch QVGA resistive touch screen. When asked why it went with a resistive touch screen instead of a capacitive one, HTC said in a tweet, "Capacitive screens at small sizes are hard to be accurate with. Resistive ends up registering fewer miss-clicks."
Navigation controls
Below the display, you get a handful of navigation controls, including a circular directional pad.
Picture time
The HTC Tattoo comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera with video-recording capabilities.
Availability and pricing
The HTC Tattoo will be available in Europe first, shipping at the beginning of October. HTC said it will then roll out to other countries in the following months. However, pricing was not announced at this time.
