Aside from 4G and Android 2.2, the Inspire also offers mobile hot-spot capabilities, the latest version of HTC Sense, which brings faster boot times, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

The HTC Inspire 4G has a design similar to the Evo 4G. The large but relatively thin smartphone measures 4.8 inches tall by 2.7 inches wide by 0.46 inch thick and weighs 5.78 ounces.

On back, you'll find the phone's 8-megapixel camera and dual LED flash. Instead of a single battery door, HTC switched it up with one removable panel on the bottom for the SIM card and memory expansion slot and one on the right side for the battery compartment. The latter was particularly hard to remove.

On top, you'll find the power button. Most recently, HTC has put the 3.5mm headphone jack alongside it, but on the Inspire 4G, the headphone jack and Micro-USB port have been moved to the bottom.

We were impressed with the quality of photos taken by the Inspire's camera. Images came out sharp and with bright colors. The new version of HTC Sense also brings additional editing tools in the camera app, such as effects.
