The HTC Desire 601 is a midrange Android phone with a 4.5-inch display, LTE, and style tips plucked from the pricier HTC One.
With its matte plastic back, the rear of the 601 is similar in style to the HTC One X.
There's a 5-megapixel camera on the back. It's not the "Ultrapixel" camera found on the HTC One, so we'll have to wait and see how the two compare.
It's easily slim enough to slide into your jeans.
Oh look, a headphone port. Fancy that.
The dual front-facing speakers make the front of the phone much more reminiscent of the HTC One.
Whether they can pump out the same impressive sound as its bigger brother's remains to be seen.
The stiff black plastic feels quite firm, while the matte effect coating seems like it won't scratch too easily.
