The TouchPad is pictured alongside the new Pre 3 smartphone after the two were announced in San Francisco today. The new version of the Pre doubles the display resolution of the previous model, and adds HD video recording and a front-facing camera, along with squeezing in a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor.
The TouchPad features a 9.7-inch multitouch display, a virtual keyboard, instant-on access, support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 beta, and the ability to integrate with HP's other WebOS devices, including the newly announced Pre 3 and Veer.
The Veer, one of the two new phones also announced today, is a scaled-down version of the Pixi, and is small enough to fit easily in the palm of a hand. It's being positioned as an alternative to what HP dubbed "jumbo phones."
