Back in August 2012, the Samsung Ativ S was the first Windows Phone 8 handset to be announced. It will be available outside the U.S. at the end of November. Unfortunately, Samsung has no plans yet to bring the device to any U.S. carrier.
The Ativ S runs on Microsoft's new mobile operating system, Windows Phone 8, which features more apps, a safe-for-kids parental feature, and a customizable lock screen.
