'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' trailer, dissected shot by shot

Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and his crew are back for more adventures in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." Let's obsess over the new trailer, shall we? Warning: possible spoilers ahead!

This tentacled, multi-toothed, inter-dimensional beast is the Abilisk. The Guardians have been hired to take it down.

Yondu (Michael Rooker) has the kind of grin that makes you wonder if he can be trusted.

With Star-Lord and the gang looking rather guilty in front of the Sovereign, one has to wonder whether Rocket or Nebula is to blame?

Leave it to Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) to insult and steal from a group of golden aliens.

Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) the Golden High Priestess of the Sovereign People, who originally asks the Guardians for their help, doesn't look too pleased with them.

Baby Groot looks adorable sitting in his chair, but he better get that seat belt on quickly.

It's not a "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie without a massive explosion. Here we see the destruction of the Ravager spaceship Eclector.
