Daydream View
Last year, Google launched Daydream View, an affordable VR headset for Android phones. It's back, with minor improvements.

The fabric-covered design is similar, but its optics and feel are improved.
It comes in three colors.
The remote is the same and works with a number of apps.
The new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL work with the new Daydream View, but so do other Daydream-ready phones, including the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The headset and remote cost $99.
The rear strap is similar: unlike Samsung's Gear VR, there's no extra top strap.
The remote tucks in the back.
Stay tuned for a new review, but the real key to Daydream View getting better is improved phone hardware and new apps.
