HP has refreshed its HP Envy x2 and Pavilion x2 lines with new looks and hardware.
The HP Envy x2 sports Beats-powered, front-facing speakers and detaches from a backlit Bluetooth keyboard. The PC is powered by an Intel Core M processor.
That fabric-covered Bluetooth keyboard doubles as the X2's cover.
HP has apparently been taking notes from Microsoft's Surface Pro 3. The HP Envy X2 now has a kickstand, which should help it stand upright.
As with the Surface Pro 3, the Envy x2's kickstand is adjustable.
The budget HP Pavilion x2 is also back, and it, too, now detaches from its keyboard base.
The 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen is 10.5mm thin and weighs 1.2 pounds. The keyboard end of the package weighs 1.9 pounds
The Pavilion x2's keyboard also doubles as a cover.
