Shortcut Labs, the developer behind the impressive Flic Smart Button, just released five FlicSingles -- a series of buttons with predetermined functions and $20 price tags.

The FlicLocation button essentially acts as a beacon for friends or family in case of emergency. When you press it, your phone will send a text with your coordinates to preselected contacts.

The FlicSelfie button lets you take pictures on your phone from across the room.

The FlicLights button allows users to control and coordinate their connected LEDs -- toggling basic on/off settings, as well as more complex scenes from the lighting apps.

The FlicFind button has only one simple function: it sets off an alarm on your phone when you're having trouble finding it.

The FlicMusic button is one of the more flexible FlicSingles. You can control your music via Apple Music, Spotify or Sonos devices -- assigning any commands for those platforms to the Flic's press, double-press, or long-hold toggles.

I Got an Early Look at Intel's Glass Packaging Tech for Faster Chips
Rahul Manepalli, right, Intel's module engineering leader, shows a glass substrate panel before it's sliced into the small rectangles that will be bonded to the undersides of hundreds of test processors. The technology, shown here at Intel's CH8 facility in Chandler, Arizona, stands to improve performance and power consumption of advanced processors arriving later this decade. Glass substrates should permit physically larger processors comprised of several small "chiplets" for AI and data center work, but Intel expects they'll trickle down to PCs, too.
