The $2,999 FirstBuild ChillHub may look like a regular GE fridge, but there's all sorts of smart home connectivity lurking behind that unassuming exterior.
Costing $2,999, the ChillHub fridge brings connected smarts to your chiller.
Based on a standard GE French-door model, this version has eight USB ports.
The USB ports are powered by a Raspberry Pi mini-computer.
FirstBuild uses its own Green Bean module to enable communication between the fridge and its accessories.
The first ChillHub accessory is called Milky Weigh.
As the name suggests, Milky Weigh is a scale that measures the amount of milk that's left in the carton.
You can use the accompanying iOS app to track your dairy inventory.
It will even send you alerts to let you know that your milk is low.
