Edifier brings elegant design to desktop speakers (photos)
Slick shapes and colors combined with smart wireless volume control modules are what it's all about at the Edifier booth.
The Spinnaker model in red gets its name from the colorful "bonus-wind" sails pulled up during the downwind leg of a race. Some might think they resemble devil horns...in a pretty way, though.
The subwoofer in this award-winning desktop speaker set takes Piet Mondrian's paintings as its inspiration. I loved the small wireless volume control unit--just a simple volume knob with a central button for quick muting.
One of the stranger designs resembles a motorcycle helmet.
This one is a bit more conventional, but it still brings strong attention to shape and line in its design.
This model was smaller but still had a nice, big sound.
Here you see the Spinnaker model in black set up with a desktop computer.
