Speaker heaven
The first thing that strikes you are the 6 front-firing speakers.
All in the grill
Dell put a lot of thought into the design of the speaker grills.
More mesh
Still grill.
Dell XPS 27 all-in-1
The system generates a lot of heat, so Dell put some venting on the top.
Mouse
Dell's curved Bluetooth mouse is curved.
Base wedgie
Hidden cables
Almost all the connectors are on the back of the display, under the stand hinge. I find that design hard to access.
Left side
An SD card slot and headphone jack are on the bottom left.
Right side
The power button and USB 3 connector that can charge devices are on the bottom right.
Still the hole
Mouse too
Small base
All of the guts are in the display, so the base is pretty small.
Thin for what's inside
It's thicker overall than the iMac, but it doesn't bulge out in the middle.
Glamour shot of the keyboard
Cable recess
The recess makes it hard to get your fingers in to plug and unplug cables, as well as hard to see the connectors without turning the machine around.
Side angle
Cable hole
Cables feed through a hole in the back of the stand, like most monitors.
