Dalek crafted from Massive Audio gear (pictures)

LAS VEGAS -- Massive Audio, maker of car audio gear, unleashed a full-size Dalek studded with the company's equipment here at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show. The Dalek was built by hand and integrates 40 DX-series speakers and a Bluetooth monitor on the front. The lights flash when it speaks.

The Massive Audio Dalek's plunger was hand-turned by the builders, just one of many painstaking details that went into the three-month build. The creation is terrorizing the show floor at CES.

Massive Audio's Dalek project is designed to honor 50 years of "Doctor Who" while attracting geeks to the car stereo equipment company's booth at CES. It does both very effectively.

A front-mounted 7-inch screen is part of the Bluetooth gear built into the full-size "Doctor Who" villain. It can be controlled remotely from a smartphone.
