I'm going to be honest here: there's really nothing about the LG Flatron IPS235V that stands out aesthetically.
The bezel does sport a wood-like finish. I guess that's something.
The foot stand is larger than what's typically seen on 23-inchers, so I guess that's somewhat special, too. Also, be sure you've tightened the screw on the underside of the stand or it will wobble. A lot.
The IPS235V isn't the thinnest monitor, so if you're a sub-inch profile purist (you know who you are), you may want to try something else.
Yes, it's a bit plump; that doesn't mean it can't tilt like the best of them, though.
The OSD array doesn't label the buttons. It instead leaves that to the actual OSD.
The OSD covers the features most people will need.
