Meet Blu
Blu is a relatively new phone manufacturer out of Miami that's aimed at the hip Latin American market, with some U.S. crossover to come.
We saw a sampling of Blu's GM world phone handsets at CTIA 2011, including this Tango, which runs Android 2.2 Froyo on a small 2.8-inch screen.
Magic
The Magic is a midrange Android handset with Froyo, Bluetooth, and 3G speeds. It's got a 3.2-inch touch screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera, FM radio, and Wi-Fi.
Magic 2
Magic 2 is billed as Blu's highest-end Android phone. It sports a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, and also runs on a 600MHz processor.
Samba Mini
Blu's Samba Mini is a dual-SIM feature phone with a 2-inch screen, Bluetooth support, and a QWERTY keyboard.
Deejay
Most of Blu's phones are basic, but they attract buyers with their flashy colors. The Deejay, for instance (pictured), is accented with a variety of hues. It's successor, the Deejay 2, has a stouter frame, thanks to its QWERTY keyboard and candy bar shape.
A closer look at the Deejay
The Deejay has dual-SIM-card slots for 2G and 3G speeds, has a 1.8-inch display, and an MP3 player as well as an FM radio.
A clique of Clicks
The Click has similar specs, but a slightly different design. It also adds a basic camera.
Click close-up
This Click looks similar to some Samsung phones we've seen, but many of the Blu phones have an added stylistic element.
