Launched earlier this year, but finally seen here in the flesh, the Zenwatch 2 is available with a wide variety of strap styles.

There are metal, rubber, fabric and leather materials to choose from. The middle strap, seen here, is studded with Swarovski crystals. Fancy!

No, it's not an invading alien craft, it's the RT-AC5300 tri-band router. You should still be scared of it, though.

A variety of phones were on display at the show, including the ZenFone 2 Deluxe, which has 128GB of storage.

This stick -- the VivoStick PC -- plugs into any TV using its HDMI connecter to turn the display into a full-fledged PC.

The ZenPad S 8 (Z580CA)'s 8-inch display has a 2,048x1,536-pixel display, 2GB of RAM and costs only £200 ($303, AU$439).

Gamers are well catered for, too. Seen here is the 34-inch, curved ROG Swift monitor, hooked up to the G20 Special Edition gaming PC. The PC packs the latest Nvidia graphics cards and, like all the best gaming rigs, has a variety of dancing LED lights all over.

For the gamers who do their fragging on the move, the GX700 laptop is just the ticket. It's specced out with top-end gaming hardware, but the excitement comes when you dock it.

That dock uses liquid cooling to chill the laptop, allowing it to be automatically overclocked, producing up to 80 percent more power for games.

Don't expect this guy to come cheap.

The T100HA tablet-laptop hybrid pulls apart to be used as either a laptop with the keyboard, or as a standalone tablet.

Asus reckons you can get a decent 12 hours of "normal usage" from it, too. We'll be putting that to the test in the full review.

Ah, another phone. This time it's the ZenFone Zoom, so called because of its photography prowess. It's packing a 3x optical zoom, with a 20-megapixel sensor. There's a front-facing flash for selfies, too.

The Zenwatch 2 was joined at IFA this year by the Huawei watch, as well as the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. Competition in the smartwatch world is becoming fierce.
