Asus FonePad 7 is a 7-inch Android phone for giants (pictures)
With a 7-inch display, the Asus FonePad 7 sits squarely in tablet territory, but its 3G radio means it operates as any other Android phone, too.
BERLIN -- We're over in Germany to see all the delights of the IFA tech show. Asus is here launching a bunch of new kit including the FonePad 7 -- a refreshed version of its ludicrous 7-inch Android phone.
At 7 inches, this really isn't a phone for those of you after a portable little device to slide into your jeans.
There's a 5-megapixel camera on the back for snapping shots of your food for Instagram.
The metal back of the previous model has been replaced with a circle-patterned plastic back.
It's at least fairly slim, though you'll still look silly holding it to your face.
There's a front-facing camera, too, for video calling over Skype or Google Hangouts.
You can expand the internal storage using a microSD card.
Nope, that isn't just a tiny little hand, it really is a massive phone.
