Astro's latest version of its popular A40 range not only offers killer gaming sound, it lets you customise the headset to create your own look.

The padded headband, the ear cups, mic and even the ear backs are all customisable. You can swap out any of those for both a new style or a different comfort level.

The MixAmp Pro unit lets you carefully adjust sound balances and the EQ on the fly. It's still powered purely via USB.

Whether it's connected to your console or your PC, the A40 package can provide clear audio and tight gaming chat, all to your exact specifications.

The ear cups shuttle up and down to adjust for any size head. Well, nearly any size.

Pop off the speaker plates, as Astro calls them, and you'll find there's a plug for the mic on both of the cans, making it easy to pop the mic where you want it, or even remove it all together.

The ear cushions are held on magnetically, letting you easily swap them around for a more comfortable material or better noise isolation.
