Ampl's SmartBackpack is packed with batteries (pictures)

LAS VEGAS -- Ampl's SmartBackpack, shown here at the 2015 International CES, comes with batteries to keep your gadgets powered up.

Inside, there are plenty of pockets for your gear, as well as seven USB outlets.

The rear laptop compartment keeps your computer safe and also reveals the expansion port for additional batteries.

Surprise, the SmartBackpack is also a great bag for toting your stuff in. It has plenty of padding to keep it comfortable to wear.

There's a plastic panel on the front of the pack that shows the battery level and Bluetooth connectivity.

There's an accompanying app that shows the backpack's battery levels and can be used to control which gadgets get power.

The SmartBackpack has padding to protect your gadgets on the bottom.

The expansion battery pack lets you add extra power.
