Lightroom Mobile's easy interface (pictures)
Lightroom users should pick up the iPad apps' straightforward interface with no problems.
Collections
Lightroom mobile is based around collections which you selectively enable for syncing as well as selectively enable for offline work. You can add photos from your Camera Roll as well, which will sync them back to Lightroom desktop.
Filmstrip view
For each image you can share, delete, or move and copy between local collections. You can also launch a slideshow from a particular photo. (You can't see the adjustment controls on the bottom of the screen because they're blocked by our slideshow template.)
Presentation mode and Grid view
The software has a demo mode that displays a big red dot under your finger for allowing the audience to follow along. This also shows the standard Grid view layout.
Offline editing
Lightroom mobile downloads the low-resolution proxies on an as-needed basis; to edit without a network connection you must enable offline editing, which can take a lot of the iPad's limited memory if you bought a 16GB version like I did. This view doesn't take advantage of the extra space in landscape mode, unfortunately.
Sharing
Sharing options are limited to what iOS' API allows, which means no direct upload to many sharing sites. (You can't see the adjustment controls on the bottom of the screen because they're blocked by our slideshow template.)
Slideshows
You can select from a few slideshow transitions and choose duration, or apply a transition on the fly via a two-finger swipe.
Preferences
These are pretty self explanatory.
Cheat sheet
There aren't that many gesture controls -- yet -- but there's a summary page with reminders.
Help overlays
You can turn them off, but this is what the help overlays look like.
