The Acer Spin 5 is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop that's full of features and competitively priced. What's not to like?
360-degree hinges
The laptop's 360-degree hinges allow it to fold into various positions.
Tablet-like
Fold the keyboard over a full 360-degrees for a tablet experience. It's nowhere near as compact as a real tablet, however.
Movie mode
It's not made with movies in mind, yet it makes for a passable portable TV. Its HD screen is sharp enough and the speakers are surprisingly loud.
Relatively slim
The all-metal design is thin for the number of ports on the laptop.
Many USB ports
It has a total of four USB ports. Seen here are the HDMI, USB-C and two USB 3.1 ports. There's one USB 2.0 port on the opposite side.
Stylus included
The Acer laptop isn't centered around stylus-use, yet it does come with one.
Active stylus pen
There's no place to store the pen on the laptop.
More ports
An SD card reader is hard to find these days.
Backlit keyboard
