LAS VEGAS -- Cricket announced today at CTIA that it will be launching the Samsung Admire 2 this summer. It will operate on the carrier's 4G LTE network and will feature its music subscription service, Muve Music.
The Admire 2 is compact, with a screen measuring about 4 inches. The left edge houses a volume rocker and a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
The handset will feature Samsung's TouchWiz user interface.
Here in the Admire 2's phone info, it says that the device runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Its encasing is made out of glossy, smooth gray plastic. Its battery door has a brushed-chrome look and can be opened to access the removable battery. It also has NFC capabilities.
In addition to a front-facing camera, it has a 5-megapixel camera in the rear that's capable of shooting 720p video.

Though no specific availability date and pricing information was given, the Admire 2 is scheduled to come out this summer. Its predecessor, which was originally offered on MetroPCS, launched at an initial price point of $129.
