A Chinese company has successfully 3D printed a five-storey apartment building and a 1,100 square metre villa from a special print material.
The 3D-printed apartment building stands five storeys high and has a red brick pattern on the outside.
The 1,100 square metre 3D-printed villa doesn't look 3D printed from a distance.
However, if you look a bit closer, you can see the layers in the walls that indicate the motion of the extruder head.
Inside the mansion, iron elements add a touch of class.
Inside the apartment building, you can also make out the 3D printing, as well as unfinished elements, such as wiring for the lighting.
This sample of wall shows the hollow interior with zig-zagging reinforcement, while an array of jars indicates the recycled materials that can be included in the print material.
