TOKYO -- Here at CEATEC 2014, 16Lab is showing off a prototype wearable device that could make it far easier to control all your devices.

It doesn't have a name just yet, but this concept device has an interesting look, including full-titanium construction.

The tech inside the ring is provided by Alps Electric, which integrated motion, compass and Bluetooth functionality into a single product.

That integration helps the ring to be a little smaller, but it's still quite large.

Users will need to specify their ring size when ordering.

The smart ring, though smaller than others on the market, dwarfs even a large traditional ring.

By holding a finger on the touch sensor, the ring is enabled.
