Starting next month, online readers of the Wall Street Journal will have to pay.
The publishing company is redesigning the Web site that hosts its Interactive Edition and will start charging users for access. The company has not set a price, but officials say it will be less than $10 per month.
The Journal has also been doing research to find out what its readers want and plans to include more in-depth information from each section of the paper, including the Op-Ed page and editorials.
Current subscribers will be eligible for a discount once fees go into effect.
