With an overall rating of two stars out of five (at the time of this story), Twitter for BlackBerry 10 hasn't exactly been embraced by its users. Fortunately, the app today gets a big update, in the form of a significantly redesigned user interface with a wider timeline and a number of new features.

The official Twitter for BlackBerry 10 now lets you view, reply, and send DMs from within the app, view recent and saved searches, and save pictures being shared on Twitter. These capabilities, along with the new Discover page and support for multiple Twitter accounts, mean the app is now more in line with its siblings on other platforms. Lastly, the app also aids you in search efforts by providing suggestions as you type in the search field.

Twitter version 10.2 for BlackBerry 10 is available for free download now on BlackBerry App World.
