Short Take: Warner Music names new vice president

Warner Music Group says it has appointed Jim Noonan senior vice president of strategic promotions, a newly created position. Since 1995, Noonan has been Warner's senior vice president of corporate communications, working closely with record labels to develop and identify nontraditional promotional outlets for musicians. He will continue to extend Warner's promotional efforts through home video, television, Internet and other media.
