Short Take: Sportsline USA earnings up more than 300 percent

Sportsline USA reported revenues of $6.79 million for its first quarter, up 359 percent from the same period a year ago. The online sports publisher posted a net loss of just over $9 million, or 56 cents a share, for the quarter, which ended March 31. The company also reported a 383 percent increase in traffic to its Web sites, averaging 4.22 million page views per day during the quarter.
