Short Take: Rent Net expands online apartment listings

Rent Net said today that it has expanded its online rental listings to more than one million apartments in 1,000 cities in the United States and Canada. The service boasts "360-degree views of selected properties nationwide" so potential renters can conduct virtual tours of listed flats. While rental agents pay upwards of a dollar a day per apartment to list with Rent Net, the service is free to consumers and offers email links to many property managers, the company said.
