Short Take: Netcenter inks new search deals

Netscape Netcenter has signed on a new rotation of search providers on its Net Search page. The page now features search function from GoTo.com, Excite, Google, HotBot, Lycos, Looksmart, and Snap. Netscape's own branded search engine will feature its Open Directory, as well as using Google's technology for nondirectory search results. Netscape declined to disclose the terms of each rotation deal.
