Malaysian executive Tan Sri Ting Pek Khiing says he will sue a freelance journalist over an article posted on the Internet, according to a report in the Malaysian newspaper, The Star. If Ting proceeds, it will be the first suit of its kind. Ting said the journalist, M.G.G. Pillai, defamed him and the hydroelectric project he oversees. "The article on the Internet is accessible by the whole world. The damage is very serious," Ting said in a press conference.
