Short Take: Hatch to explore Net policies

The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), is holding the first of several hearings to consider how the Internet and high tech in general will affect antitrust, intellectual property, and competition policies. Hatch has applauded the current Justice Department antitrust probe of Microsoft.
