Short Take: ABC shuts down Dot Comedy
After one episode, ABC has pulled the plug on its cyberculture show, "Dot Comedy," citing low ratings. The networks had ordered 13 episodes of the show produced by Oxygen Media Carsey-Werner, but after it premiered Dec. 8 in the 8:30 p.m. PST programming slot, ABC canceled it. The show's Web site is still online.
