Quote of the day: Thanks for unanswered prayers

Intuit co-founder Scott Cook, once disappointed when Microsoft deal didn't go through, uses song to explain how he's now thankful.

In an interview with CNET News.com, Intuit co-founder Scott Cook uses a Garth Brooks song to answer a question about whether his company would have been better off had the government allowed it to be bought by Microsoft.

In the ballad, Brooks remembers praying for a high-school crush to fall in love with him. "And the refrain in the song is, 'Thank God for unanswered prayer,'" Cook said.
