Powells.com, an online bookseller, has begun offering e-book titles for the Adobe Acrobat eBook Reader and the Microsoft Reader, adding to its 4,500 Gemstar e-book titles. The company said readers can select titles ranging from classics such as "Jane Eyre" to reference guides, history books and biographies. The Adobe and Microsoft services can be downloaded onto a reader's computer; Microsoft Reader can also be downloaded onto the Pocket PC 2002.
