Net.Genesis analyzes Web traffic
A Cambridge, Massachusetts, company has released a new software suite that lets Web site operators count traffic more easily and generate reports from the data.
Net.Genesis is now selling Net.Analysis, an Internet traffic-monitoring package that works on PC and Unix desktop systems. Priced at $2,995, the software lets Webmasters collect data on site visitors: where they come from, when they arrive, and which pages they visit.
Used in conjunction with the company's $495 Net.Analysis Reporter module, Web trackers can also generate interactive reports in Microsoft Word, Excel, or HTML formats.
Net.Analysis uses Informix's SQL database to collect and index Web data.
