LAS VEGAS--Saros Corporation announced plans for a December 15 ship date of @mezzanine, a cyberlibrarian software pack that organizes, protects, and maintains Web documents.

The software is aimed at any individual or company maintaining Web documents, officials said. Netscape Communication's Navigator and Microsoft's Internet Explorer are among browsers supported by @mezzanine.

The program will give Web page creators tools for creating links to the cyberlibrarian. Once those links are in place, page authors can prescribe links to specific document collections, create custom query forms, embed URLs for stored queries, and set properties returned from queries. Pricing for @mezzanine was not released.
