The mobile version of Lightroom has been in development for some time. Simply called Lightroom Mobile, the app offers a similar set of features to the desktop version, though the interface has been entirely redesigned for tablet use. At the moment it is available for iPad 2 or later running iOS 7.
However, you need to be a subscriber to Adobe's Creative Cloud service to get access to Lightroom Mobile — it's not a standalone app you can buy without a subscription. In Australia, prices for the Lightroom mobile edition start at AU$9.99 per month, which also includes the standalone PC or Mac version of Lightroom 5 and access to Photoshop CC. For those without a subscription, Adobe offers a 30-day free Creative Cloud trial.
In terms of features, the mobile app is fairly comprehensive, offering full synchronisation of edits between the tablet and desktop catalogs, as well as offline access to images. Editing features include exposure control, filters and white balance controls.
