Tall, dark, and powerful: Meet the Whirlpool WRB322DMBB

It's a basic-looking fridge, sure -- but there's a lot more to the Whirlpool WRB322DMBB bottom freezer than meets the eye. Click through to see what I'm talking about.

The 22.1-cubic-foot interior is pretty plain -- though you do get spillproof glass shelves.

6.5 of those cubic feet are allocated to the drawer-style freezer, which sits below the fridge (get it? Bottom freezer?)

The only other feature of note: humidity sliders on the crisper bins.

Of course, those crisper bins are a bit flimsy to the touch.

Now for the good stuff: performance. This fridge nailed our cooling tests, with satisfyingly low average temperatures throughout the entirety of the interior.

Here's the minute-by-minute results from that same tests. You can see how steady the lines representing each section of the fridge are. Those spikes are our regularly scheduled door openings --they never brought temperatures up by more than a few degrees, and the fridge was always able to pull them right back down. All in all, it's a fantastic result.

Here are the averages from the fridge's coldest setting. It's probably too cold, with most areas coming in below freezing, but note how consistent everything is. Also, note the freezer. We kept it at the default setting for both tests, and it yielded identical results after each. Dialing the fridge down didn't affect it one bit. Another fantastic result.
