Warner Music names new CFO

Warner Music Group, a division of AOL Time Warner, says Helen Murphy will become the company's new executive vice president and chief financial officer. Effective Monday, Murphy will replace Jerome Gold, who has served as the company's CFO since 1992. Gold will now serve as a consultant to the group. Murphy comes to the position from Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where she served as CFO since 1999. In her new capacity, she will oversee Warner Music's finance, human resources, business development, information technology and real estate functions.
